Das Gummiprofil mit der Artikelnummer B7-17-097 wird beim BMW 700 (alle Modelle) unten am Schweller beidseitig verbaut und schützt die Karosseriekante vor Feuchtigkeit und Schmutz. Im Zuge einer Restauration ersetzt es fehlende oder poröse Originalprofile, um Rostbildung im Schwellerbereich zu verhindern und die originale Abdichtung wiederherzustellen. Die passgenaue Ausführung erleichtert den korrekten Einbau an beiden Fahrzeugseiten.
