Das Gummiprofil B7-17-0961 dichtet beim BMW 700 (alle Modelle) den Bereich vom Schweller bis zur Unterkante des Holmes an der rechten A-Säule ab und schützt so vor Feuchtigkeit und Schmutz. Bei Restaurierungen werden hier meist verhärtete oder rissige Altprofile ersetzt, um Korrosionsschäden im Schwellerbereich zu vermeiden und die ursprüngliche Geräuschdämmung wiederherzustellen. Die passgenaue Ausführung erleichtert den originalgetreuen Einbau im Tür- und Schwellerbereich.
