General information about this item
Product info
The shaft protection sleeve 1-0080 is used to repair the 52-mm running surface for the shaft seal, for example on the flywheel of the BMW Isetta engine, and creates a new, smooth sealing surface. It is particularly useful for restorations when the original shaft or flywheel has worn down and oil continues to leak despite a new seal. Proper installation of the sleeve permanently improves the seal without having to replace the original component.
