Die Verschlussschraube 1-003 verschließt die obere Öffnung des Ölpumpenantriebs am Motorgehäuse der BMW Isetta und verhindert Ölverlust sowie das Eindringen von Schmutz. Bei der Motorüberholung wird sie häufig zusammen mit einer neuen Dichtung eingesetzt, um Undichtigkeiten und Druckverluste im Schmiersystem zu vermeiden. Ein sauberes Gewinde und das richtige Anzugsmoment sind für eine dauerhafte Abdichtung im restaurierten Motor entscheidend.
