Der Profilgummi B7-01-1100 dichtet beim BMW 700 den Bereich zwischen Motor-Bodenblech und Karosserie ab und entkoppelt beide Bauteile schwingungstechnisch. Bei einer Restauration sollten verhärtete oder rissige Originalgummis konsequent durch neue Profile ersetzt werden, um Korrosion, Geräuschbildung und Feuchtigkeitseintritt dauerhaft zu vermeiden.
