The B7-01-1100 rubber profile seals the area between the engine floor panel and the body in the BMW 700 and decouples the two components to reduce vibration. During restoration, hardened or cracked original rubber parts should be systematically replaced with new profiles to permanently prevent corrosion, noise, and moisture ingress.
