Für eine hochwertige Restauration sollten alte, verhärtete Dichtungen grundsätzlich ersetzt und die Dichtflächen sorgfältig gereinigt sowie plan kontrolliert werden. In Kombination mit korrektem Schraubenanzug sorgt diese Korkdichtung für einen dauerhaft dichten und originalgetreuen Motorölkreislauf am BMW 700.
