Die Ölwannendichtung B6-01-047 aus Kork (auch B7-01-036) dichtet die Verbindung zwischen Motorblock und Ölwanne beim BMW 600 zuverlässig ab. Im Zuge einer Motorüberholung oder Restaurierung sollte die alte Dichtung grundsätzlich ersetzt und die Dichtflächen sorgfältig gereinigt und geprüft werden. Eine korrekt montierte Korkdichtung verhindert Ölverlust und trägt maßgeblich zu einem sauberen, trockenen Motor bei.
