The B7-01-036 oil pan gasket made of cork (also B6-01-047) seals the connection between the engine block and the oil pan in the BMW 700, reliably preventing oil leaks. For a high-quality restoration, old, hardened gaskets should always be replaced, and the sealing surfaces should be carefully cleaned and checked for flatness. In combination with proper bolt tightening, this cork gasket ensures a permanently tight and authentic engine oil circuit in the BMW 700.
