The float needle valve 1.75 (Part No. B7-03-0820) regulates the fuel level in the float chamber of the BMW 700 carburetor and is therefore crucial for fuel-air mixture formation and engine operation. During restoration, the valve seat and sealing cone should be checked for wear, and the float level should be adjusted according to the manufacturer’s specifications to prevent overflow and starting problems. A clean fuel supply and a cleaned carburetor are essential for the long-term sealing of this component.
