The right carburetor cover B7-03-078 seals the right side of the carburetor on the BMW 700 and ensures the proper sealing of the float chamber as well as the correct flow of fuel and air. During a carburetor restoration, warped, cracked, or corroded covers should be consistently replaced, as they cause leaks and air leaks. Careful installation with flat sealing surfaces and intact threads is crucial for stable engine operation after the overhaul.
