The bearing bushing on the clutch side for the BMW 700 engine (Part No. B7-01-017) ensures precise guidance of the shaft in the clutch area and reduces friction and play. Since the bushings offered are unsorted and unmeasured, dimensions and fit (e.g., base dimension or S6 oversize) must be carefully checked before installation and adjusted if necessary. As part of a restoration, a correctly fitted bearing bushing contributes significantly to smooth operation and low wear of the BMW 700 drivetrain.
