The throttle shaft B6-02-132 for the 403 and 403C carburetors controls the position of the throttle valve in the BMW 600 and thus the air supply to the engine. During restorations, it replaces worn-out or worn-through original shafts, which often cause air leaks and unstable idling. A new, play-free shaft is crucial for proper fuel-air mixture formation and precise throttle response.
