The upper heating tube B6-02-072 supplies heat to the heating chamber of the BMW 600 carburetor and is therefore important for stable cold-start performance and preventing carburetor icing. During restorations, heating tubes should always be inspected for rust, perforations, and deformation, and should be reconditioned or replaced as necessary. Only a leak-free and dimensionally stable heating tube ensures uniform heating of the intake area.
