This rear mudguard for the BMW Isetta chassis (Part No. 5-018) protects the rear area from splashing water, dirt, and stone chips, thereby preventing corrosion damage to the frame and body. Especially during restorations, the original metal panels are often heavily rusted or deformed and should be replaced with precisely fitting new parts. The galvanized version corresponds to the BMW original part and also provides modern rust protection.
