Die Getriebeteile mit der Artikelnummer 2-99970 umfassen das Stirnrad 1. Gang mit Buchse 2-066 für das BMW Isetta Getriebe, das die kraftvolle Übersetzung beim Anfahren bereitstellt. Aufgrund der hohen Belastung im ersten Gang treten häufig Verschleiß an den Zahnflanken sowie Spiel oder Einlaufspuren an der Buchse auf, weshalb dieses gebrauchte Teil vor allem als Muster oder Ausgangsbasis für eine Überarbeitung in der Restauration dient. Vor einem Wiedereinbau sollten Zahnrad und Buchse gründlich vermessen und auf Risse, Pitting und Passungsgenauigkeit geprüft werden.
