Das Getriebeöl mit der Artikelnummer 2-999500 ist für BMW Isetta Getriebe und Hinterachse nach Herstellervorschrift abgestimmt und stellt die korrekte Schmierung von Zahnrädern, Lagern und Wellen sicher. Bei der Restauration sollte nach der Überholung von Getriebe und Kettenantrieb mit den angegebenen Füllmengen (0,55 l im Getriebe, 0,25 l im Kettenantrieb) neu befüllt werden, um Verschleiß und Korrosion zu minimieren. Regelmäßiger Ölwechsel ist insbesondere bei selten bewegten Oldtimern wichtig, da Alterung und Kondenswasser die Schmierwirkung beeinträchtigen können.
