Das Zahnrad 2. Gang, Art.-Nr. 2-071, übernimmt im BMW Isetta Getriebe die Drehmomentübertragung in der mittleren Übersetzung zwischen erstem und höherem Gang. Bei der Restaurierung sollten Zahnausbrüche, Pitting oder deutlich eingelaufene Zahnflanken nicht toleriert werden, da sie zu Heulgeräuschen und erhöhtem Verschleiß führen. Ein neues Zahnrad stellt das korrekte Zahnflankenspiel und die typische Laufruhe des zweiten Gangs im Isetta-Getriebe wieder her.
