Das Zahnrad 1. Gang mit Buchse, Art.-Nr. 2-066, übernimmt im BMW Isetta Getriebe die kraftschlüssige Drehmomentübertragung beim Anfahren und ist daher besonders verschleißgefährdet. Bei der Restaurierung sollten Zahnausbrüche, Pitting oder eingelaufene Buchsen nicht nachgearbeitet, sondern durch ein neues Zahnrad ersetzt werden. So wird das korrekte Zahnflankenspiel und die ursprüngliche Laufruhe des ersten Gangs im Isetta-Getriebe wieder erreicht.
