The output shaft with bushing and retaining ring (Part No. 2-058) transmits torque from the gear wheels to the rear axle in the BMW Isetta transmission and ensures the correct mounting and axial fixation of the transmission components. During a transmission restoration, a worn or seized output shaft should be replaced with this compatible replacement part to permanently eliminate play, noise, and leaks.
