The used accelerator pump 1-14910 (No. 1208/6) for the BMW Isetta engine provides the additional fuel required for smooth acceleration when the throttle is suddenly applied. Since the unit is delivered untested and as removed from the vehicle, complete disassembly, cleaning, and overhaul with new gaskets and, if necessary, a new piston are recommended for restoration work. This reliably prevents typical problems such as jerking, a loss of power during acceleration, and fuel leaks.
