Der Chokesitz (Art.-Nr. 1-1408) dient im Vergaser der BMW Isetta als präzise Führung und Dichtfläche für den Start- bzw. Chokekolben und ist damit für einen zuverlässigen Kaltstart verantwortlich. Bei der Restauration sollte der gebrauchte Chokesitz vor dem Einpressen sorgfältig gereinigt und auf Verschleiß oder Korrosion geprüft werden, da Undichtigkeiten in diesem Bereich zu schlechtem Startverhalten und dauerhaft falscher Gemischbildung führen können.
