The Bing carburetor housing 1/22/131 (Part No. 1-13225) is designed as an empty, glass-bead-blasted base housing for rebuilding a carburetor on the BMW Isetta engine. It replaces damaged or warped original housings and thus provides a clean foundation for reliable fuel mixture preparation; however, it must be carefully cleaned of blasting residue and inspected for cracks before installation during restoration. This allows for the assembly of a technically flawless carburetor as part of an Isetta restoration, one that closely resembles the original condition.
