The Type 4 adjustment screw (Part No. 1-0824) for the rocker arm of the BMW Isetta engine is used to precisely adjust the valve clearance and supplies oil to the bearing via the through-hole. During an engine overhaul or valve train restoration, worn adjustment surfaces and stripped screws should be consistently replaced to prevent noise and uneven wear.
