Der Kolben SM-049 (72,44 mm, 20 mm Kolbenbolzen) von Mahle/Nüral ist speziell für den Standard-Motor der BMW Isetta 300 ccm bis Motor-Nr. 496030 ausgelegt. Bei einer Motorüberholung ermöglicht er die Wiederherstellung von Kompression und Leistungsentfaltung, vorausgesetzt Zylindermaß, Kolbenspiel und Kolbenringe werden fachgerecht abgestimmt. So lassen sich typische Verschleißprobleme wie Kolbenkipper, Riefen und erhöhter Ölverbrauch bei restaurierten BMW Isetta 300 Motoren zuverlässig beheben.
