Der gebrauchte Übermaßkolben SM-048880 für den BMW Isetta Standard 300 ccm (1954–1955) ist für stark ausgeschliffene Zylinder mit 73,43–73,45 mm Durchmesser vorgesehen und wird im Zustand „wie ausgebaut“ geliefert, teils ohne Kolbenbolzen und Kolbenringe. Er kann zur Instandsetzung stark verschlissener Motoren oder als Ersatzteilspender dienen, erfordert jedoch eine sorgfältige Prüfung von Maßhaltigkeit, Rissfreiheit und Ringnuten. Für eine nachhaltige Restauration sollten stets neue Kolbenringe und ein geprüfter Kolbenbolzen verwendet werden.
