Der Übermaßkolben SM-048868 für den BMW Isetta Standard 300 ccm (1954–1955) ist für stark ausgeschliffene Zylinder mit 73,43–73,45 mm Durchmesser ausgelegt und stellt die notwendige Verdichtung trotz erhöhten Zylinderdurchmessers sicher. Er eignet sich besonders für Motoren, deren Zylinder aufgrund starker Riefen oder Verschleiß bereits mehrfach bearbeitet werden mussten. Bei einer fachgerechten Motorüberholung sind Zylindermaß, Wandstärke und Kolbenspiel sorgfältig zu prüfen, bevor dieses große Übermaß verbaut wird.
