Der Übermaß-Kolben SM-04880 in der Maßgruppe 69,93–69,95 mm wird bei überholten BMW Isetta 250 und BMW R24/R25-Motoren eingesetzt, um nach dem Ausschleifen des Zylinders wieder eine korrekte Kompression herzustellen. Für eine fachgerechte Restauration müssen Zylindermaß, Kolbenspiel und Zustand der Ringnuten sorgfältig geprüft werden. Da der Kolben gebraucht ist und teils ohne Bolzen und Ringe geliefert wird, sollten neue Kolbenringe und ggf. ein passender Kolbenbolzen mit verbaut werden.
