connecting rod eye 18 mm, for 250cc engine. The crankshaft was overhauled in a specialised workshop for BMW crankshafts. Where necessary, the bearing seats were chrome-plated to oversize and then ground back to nominal dimensions. All bearings, including the connecting rod, were replaced with new original BMW parts.

Eine solche überholte Welle reduziert das Risiko von Lagerschäden und Vibrationen im restaurierten Aggregat deutlich.
