Die Ölwanne SM-024 für den BMW Isetta Motor mit ca. 45 mm Tiefe und kurzem Öleinfüllrohr dient als Ölreservoir und Abschluss des Kurbelgehäuses und ist für die kurze Ölpumpe (z. B. Artikel 1-17225) ausgelegt. Das gebrauchte, ungereinigte Teil ist ideal als Ausgangsbasis für eine Restauration, sollte jedoch vor dem Einbau gründlich gereinigt, auf Risse und Korrosion geprüft sowie an den Dichtflächen überarbeitet werden. So wird die originale Ölversorgung und Dichtheit des Motors im Zuge der Überholung zuverlässig wiederhergestellt.
