Der Tachometer B7-19-0050 für den BMW 700 ist ein rundes Geschwindigkeitsinstrument (0–140 km/h) ohne Kraftstoffanzeige und wird mechanisch über die Tachowelle angetrieben. Aufgrund des Alters sind oft Lager, Magnetkupplung oder Kilometerzähler verschlissen, weshalb dieses ungeprüfte Gebrauchtteil in der Regel als Basis für eine fachgerechte Instandsetzung dient. Für eine authentische Restauration des BMW 700 ist der Erhalt des originalen Tachodesigns jedoch besonders wichtig.
