Durch die abgewinkelte Form und die vier Befestigungslöcher lässt sie sich stabil montieren und verdeckt Blechkanten sowie Schraubpunkte. Bei der Restauration empfiehlt sich eine sorgfältige Aufarbeitung von Kratzern und Oxidationsspuren, um den typischen Glanz des Zubehörteils wiederherzustellen.
