Dieser Gummistopfen (Art.-Nr. B7-15-066) dient beim BMW 700 zum dichten Verschluss des Stoßdämpfer-Montagelochs in der Karosserie. Er verhindert das Eindringen von Feuchtigkeit und Schmutz in Hohlräume und trägt so maßgeblich zum Rostschutz bei. Im Rahmen einer Restauration sollten spröde oder fehlende Stopfen konsequent ersetzt werden, um die Karosseriesubstanz langfristig zu erhalten.
