Die Luftdichtung für die Frontklappe (Art.-Nr. B7-15-027) dichtet beim BMW 700 den Spalt zwischen Frontklappe und Karosserie ab und dient hier als gebrauchtes Musterteil für den exakten Nachbau. Im Rahmen einer Restauration sollte anhand dieses Profils eine neue Dichtung mit korrekter Geometrie gefertigt werden, um Windgeräusche, Feuchtigkeitseintritt und Klappern der Frontklappe zuverlässig zu verhindern.
