Die Dichtung für Bajonettverschluss (Art.-Nr. B7-10-003) dichtet den Tankdeckel am BMW 700 gegenüber dem Einfüllstutzen kraftstoffbeständig ab und verhindert so das Austreten von Benzin und Dämpfen. Im Rahmen einer Restaurierung sollte die oft verhärtete oder rissige Originaldichtung grundsätzlich ersetzt werden, um Dichtheit, Geruchsfreiheit und die korrekte Funktion des Bajonettverschlusses sicherzustellen.
