Das Gehäuse (Art.-Nr. B7-08-1093) ist ein originales ATE-Hauptbremszylindergehäuse für den BMW 700 und dient als druckfester Zylinderkörper für Kolben und Dichtungen. Als reparaturbedürftiges Bastlerteil ist es vor allem für Restaurierungen interessant, bei denen die originale ATE-Substanz durch Aufarbeitung wie Honen oder Ausbuchsen erhalten werden soll. Vor dem Einsatz ist eine sorgfältige Prüfung auf Korrosion, Risse und Maßhaltigkeit unerlässlich.
