Die originale BMW Gelenkscheibe (Art.-Nr. B7-08-031) verbindet beim BMW 700 die Lenksäule elastisch mit dem Lenkgetriebe und reduziert Vibrationen sowie Geräusche. Im Zuge einer Restauration ersetzt sie häufig rissige oder verhärtete Altteile, die Lenkspiel und Knackgeräusche verursachen. Ein fachgerechter Einbau mit neuen Befestigungsmitteln stellt die ursprüngliche Lenkpräzision wieder her.
