Das Lenkritzel B7-08-011 für den BMW 700 Coupé bis Fahrgestellnummer 161849 greift in die Zahnstange ein und setzt die Drehbewegung des Lenkrads in eine lineare Lenkbewegung um. Bei der Restauration ist eine genaue Prüfung auf Zahnverschleiß, Korrosion und Spiel unerlässlich, da ein beschädigtes Ritzel die Lenkpräzision deutlich beeinträchtigt. Der Austausch gegen ein passendes, intaktes Ritzel stellt die originale, spielfreie Lenkcharakteristik des Coupés wieder her.
