The used 3.50 x 12 rim (Part No. B7-06-1345) for the BMW 700 is sandblasted and galvanized, making it an excellent base for a new paint job as part of a restoration. It is suitable for bias-ply tires 4.80x12, 5.20x12, 5.30x12, as well as radial tires 125R12; however, it has not been balanced or tested for lateral and radial runout. Before use in driving operations, the rim should therefore be inspected for warping, cracks, and residual corrosion and subsequently professionally balanced.
