Das Gehäuse B7-04-003 (BMW-Nr. 13720043770) bildet das Unterteil des Ansaugfilters im BMW 700 und nimmt den Luftfiltereinsatz auf, wobei es den Luftweg zum Vergaser dicht und strömungsgünstig führt. Für eine fachgerechte Restauration sollten Korrosionsschäden, verzogene Dichtflächen und Befestigungspunkte aufgearbeitet werden, bevor das Gehäuse mit Deckel und neuem Filtereinsatz wieder montiert wird.
