The choke valve shaft B7-03-084 for the right carburetor on the BMW 700 Convertible and CS transmits the choke actuation directly to the choke valve, thereby ensuring an enriched mixture during cold starts. During a carburetor restoration, worn or stiff shafts with flaps should be replaced to prevent air leaks, unreliable starting, and rough idling.
