Im Rahmen einer Restauration sollte die Welle sorgfältig auf Nocken- und Lagerverschleiß geprüft und nur in Verbindung mit einem überholten Ventiltrieb und korrekt eingestelltem Ventilspiel eingesetzt werden, um die gewünschte Sport-Charakteristik zuverlässig zu erreichen.
