The valve guide B7-02-0461, with an outer diameter of 13.1 mm, is designed as a slightly oversized part for the BMW 700 cylinder head and restores a tight fit after the guide bores have been worn out. During a cylinder head overhaul, it is pressed in and then lapped to the correct valve stem clearance to reduce valve chattering and oil consumption. This allows the valve train of the BMW 700 to be technically restored to perfect working order during a restoration.
