Der Rechteckring 78,0 mm Grundmaß (Art.-Nr. B7-02-042) dient im BMW 600 2-Vergaser-Sportmotor als Kolbenring zur Abdichtung des Brennraums und zur Sicherstellung der Kompression. Bei einer Motorüberholung oder Restauration sollten verschlissene Ringe stets gegen neue im korrekten Grundmaß getauscht und das Stoßspiel sorgfältig geprüft werden. Nur so bleibt die originale Leistungsentfaltung und Laufruhe des Sportmotors erhalten.
