The fan cover B7-01-0825 for the BMW 700 engine serves as a housing for the targeted flow of cooling air around the cylinders and heads and is available here used, glass bead blasted, but untested and without baffle plates. During restoration, cracks, warped sealing surfaces, and damaged threads should be carefully inspected and repaired if necessary, as leaks in the blower housing can quickly lead to uneven cooling and overheating of the engine.
