This cylinder (Part No. B7-01-0434) for the BMW 700 with a 6-hole cylinder head is designed as a base for reconditioning and can be repaired by honing, grinding, or installing a new liner. This allows worn or damaged bores to be restored to a dimensionally accurate and leak-tight condition during a motorcycle restoration. Missing or leaky tappet tubes should be replaced to permanently prevent oil loss and leaks.
