The cylinder (Part No. B7-01-0433) for the BMW 700 with a 4-hole cylinder head is designed as a reconditioned part and, depending on the degree of wear, can be honed, ground, or fitted with a new liner. This allows for the reliable repair of compression loss, scoring, and warped cylinder surfaces during an engine restoration. Missing or damaged pushrod tubes should be replaced during the overhaul to ensure oil- and gas-tight operation.
