The right SPORT cylinder head (B7-01-04160) for the BMW 700 engine is used, unrepaired, and is ideal as a starting point for a complete overhaul. It serves as the upper closure of the combustion chamber and houses valves and channels for gas exchange. As part of a restoration, sealing surfaces should be reworked, the valve train overhauled, and, if necessary, the intake flange adjusted to restore factory-spec performance and sealing integrity.
