This left cylinder head with 6-hole mounting and pipe connection (Part No. B7-01-0412) forms the upper boundary of the combustion chamber in the BMW 700 engine and supports the valves and spark plug. For a professional restoration, sealing surfaces should be prepared, valve guides and seats should be inspected or overhauled, and the intake manifold should be checked for cracks and warping.
