The left mounting bracket (Part No. B6-07-196) secures the seatback in the BMW 600 in its defined end position and transfers the loads to the body. During restoration, check for corrosion, warping, and worn mounting points, as these can lead to play and rattling noises. An intact support bracket restores the correct fit and function of the seat backrest.
